Today we meet Adam Fenech, Group Accountant and marathon runner extraordinaire.
Nickname: Fendog
Adam – What’s your role at HQ? I am the Group Accountant. I look after Elevate’s financials globally, as well as for each office which includes bookkeeping, budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial decision making.
How did you get to Elevate? I was a presenter for 3 years in Melbourne, eventually becoming a Team Leader. After graduating I went to work for KPMG as an accountant in their audit division, where I worked for 4.5 years.
What lead you back to Elevate? Even though I had graduated, I still kept in contact with a number of people at Elevate, which was a key draw. I am also passionate about education, always believed in the work Elevate does, and had seen from my time as a presenter the impact that we can have on students. Thirdly, Elevate is going through such an exciting phase of high growth, and I saw an opportunity to bring my specific skills and be a part of that journey.
What was your favourite seminar to present? Essay Booster. I know we don’t sell it anymore, but I was someone who saw the value in having a clear structure in an essay and I felt obliged to share that with as many students as possible.
Do you have a hidden talent that no-one in the office knows? Hahah – I think all my talents are in the public domain already!
If you had to sing one song at Karaoke? Backstreet’s Back – by the Backstreet Boys.
Who is your doppelganger? The Formula One driver Daniel Ricciardo and Australian Rugby League player Jonathan

Ideal holiday destination? Wilson’s Promentary Gippsland Victoria Australia. Niche answer.
Favorite food and dish? I am a Chicken Parma connoisseur. For those in Team Melbourne I highly recommend Skinny Dog in Kew!
