Around the Grounds

Find out who our Presenters of the Month were for December and all the other must know news from across Elevate.

Oz

With only a few days of seminars in Aus in Jan, the race for the title was hotly contested. Coming out on top was Sam Howard (team VIC), with a perfect 100% student feedback and straight 5 teacher feedback across his 8 seminars!!! Unbelievable work Sam, an inspiration as always!

Singapore

Greetings from Singapore!

Mad-Jan is done and it’s been our highest performing month yet since Elevate Singapore’s inception – a huge 98.41% recommendation! Huge props go to the entire presenting team in Singapore for a fantastic month where we helped over 10,000 students. What’s even more exciting is that we have 2 newbies that have finished in the top 3 for Presenter of the Month awards for January 2020.

In 3rd place we have Harvey Mercado who finished with 98.5% in his first month of presenting. In 2nd place we have one of Elevate’s veteran presenters Nathaniel Mah who finished up with 98.9%. Nat will be taking a break from Elevate to focus on his final year thesis at University, so a big shout out to him for smashing out so many seminars across the past 2 years!

And finally, in 1st place is another newbie with a whopping 99.0% feedback rate – taking on some pretty difficult seminars in the process – Siddharth Chintalacheruvu! This piece of student feedback sums it up for Sid with a student saying: “The Elevate programme was really helpful and so meaningful. This is one of the best seminars I have attended!”Here is a picture of Harvey and Sid showing off their elite modelling skills – sign them up!

South Africa:

Our presenter of the month for January was Deanre Reiners from Team Gauteng. Deanre received 100% feedback from his sessions in January; drove to Bloemfontein to present at Grey College; rescued a dog outside a school (literally); and did a fantastic job at his parent session at Curro Edenvale.

I also received some excellent feedback from his sessions at Hatfield Christian School: “Deanre was very well received by our students. Some comments: ‘He kept us entertained’, ‘Love this presenter, he's fun’, ‘I like this presenter, he interacts with the learners’. Well done, Deanre, and thank you. PS Thank you for taking note of our request to have you run through the website with the students”

In other news, It's been a busy start to 2020 as we have delivered more than 100 sessions across the country and trained more than 40 new presenters and coaches. A very warm welcome to all of our new Elevators, and I'm looking forward to hearing about all of your #helpingthekids moments across the term.

Finally a massive congratulations to our 3 new Team Leaders for the start of 2020. Well done to Brett Mason for his promotion to 2iC to Team Leader in the Eastern Cape; Siya Khanyile for his promotion from 2iC to Team Leader in KZN; and Edward Jacobs for his promotion to Team Leader in the Western Cape

UK

"Huge shout-out to Luke Meehan who has now been awarded Presenter of the Month for the 5th time since this newsletter started! On top of TL duties, inter-territory travel and training new presenters Luke has been smashing his sessions across the North-West. Will he be able to do it for a 6th month in February? Watch this space!"

New York

Presenter of the Month:

Elevate NYC’s presenter of the month for January 2020 is Jeffrey Wright! Jeffrey absolutely smashed the 42 seminars he delivered across the month, receeiving some truly impressive feedback, including this gem frrom the Assistant Principal at Schuylerville Prep High School in the Bronx: “Our students and teacher love Jeffrey and really really want him to come back and keep working with them. They love his energy and his communication.” The principal at K273 also referred to his Note Taking seminars recently as “absolutely extraordinary.” Fantastic work Jeffrey!

A huge welcome to the team to Elevate’s newest Operations Manager, Carol Lawson-Body. Carol joined the team at the start of February, having spent the last year working as an Account Executive at Yelp. Carol grew up in Georgia and, true to form, says the biggest thing she misses from home is a good ol’ fashioned peach cobbler.
