Welcome, fellow Elevators, to our final Around the Grounds of 2024!
We know most of you probably have your eyes set on the break ahead, but before you go and enjoy some rest and recovery, we'd love it if you could take 5 minutes to reflect on what your team achieved across last month - and the rest of the year!
November has been an incredible month for our teams worldwide. With just a few weeks left until we wrap up the year, our South African and Australian teams celebrated their National Awards this month. A huge congrats to all our winners and nominees!
Back in the day-to-day, it’s been all systems go with final workshops and coaching sessions in full swing. As a result, our teams have been focused on the job at hand, but there’s also plenty of excitement for what’s ahead. We’ve even been sneaking in some prep for 2024 (spoiler alert: it’s going to be big!).
But for now, let’s share some of the best highlights from the past month, and celebrate the wins that made it memorable. Let’s dive in!
Team Australia
As we head into the final stretch of the school year, it’s time to shine a light on our amazing Australian team and their big November moment: the National Awards! These celebrations were all about recognising the hard work, energy, and talent that went into making this year such a success. Check out some photos of these below.
From top-notch workshops to high-impact coaching sessions, it’s been a massive effort—and these awards showcased just how impactful that work has been. With the holidays in sight, we’re so proud of what the team has accomplished this year.
Let's take a look at those Aussie team members who have really gone above and beyond:
Aus Presenter of the Month
Darius
Darius has been absolutely crushing it with a stellar 98.57% stats rating and an impressive 9.57 teacher feedback score across his seminars in November. A huge well done for bringing your A-game to every session, Darius!
Standout Presenter Feedback
Kerr
"Kerr was outstanding. Staff and students were very impressed with him and particularly his ability to relate to the students. Students were engaged and have given very positive feedback. I hope Kerr enjoyed Bangkok Patana. I know we would have him back again."
Evan
"Brilliant, Evan had the group eating out of the palm of his hands. He was great."
Sofia
"Awesome sessions, Sofia was really engaging"
Charlotte & Henry
"Charlotte and Henry were fantastic presenters. Information was relevant and to the point. Thanks."
Standout Coach Feedback
Ebony
"It was really good and Ebony was brilliant. My daughter was actually really looking forward to the Saturday morning sessions with Ebony which was unusual for her."
David
"My son's coach - David - was excellent. He engaged well with my son and was very flexible when we needed to change timings at short notice. Please pass this positive feedback onto him."
Kayla
"Kayla was absolutely fantastic. Patient, adaptable and great with my son and got him engaged."
Dharsh
"Dharsh is a brilliant brilliant tutor. He was not just imparting the knowledge but also interested in my son's progress. He put in so much effort and went above and beyond. You can tell when someone is just doing just the job or very passionate about it. We are very happy with him. My son has improved dramatically since these sessions with Dharsh."
Slack Channel Highlights
Team NSW
Last month, Team NSW shared: A lovely post from Bethany, sharing some treats she'd received as a post-sem thank you; an awesome team photo from Lennox; and a slightly surreal festive photo from El, that could probably do with a bit more context.
We also have a video from Victoria of her and the team grooving around:
Team VIC
From Team VIC, we've got: a farewell post to Caroline from Velentina, featuring some very unimpressed Elemates (best of luck Caz!); some beautiful photos from Sofia of her trip to Raymond Island; a snap from Nelson of his day out to Bairnsdale which included a quick squash stop; another snap from Nelson of some familiar study guides laying around in a school staff room...; and some slightly chaotic photos from another Board Game Bandits meet up.
Team QLD
To wrap up the year in QLD, we have; some fab EOTD and Awards pics, shared by Isaac; a final-sem-of-the-year post from Ethan; and a team selfie from Jemma.
Team WA
In WA, Nandita is seeing out the 2024 Slack posts with some great photos from their EOTDs and awards. We're loving the festive attire.
Thank you for sharing everyone, and for making this year so fantastic. Have an amazing summer and we'll see you in Term 1!
Team South Africa
And it's not just the Australian team who were celebrating last month - our wonderful South African Elevators were also hosting their own EOTDs and Awards, celebrating those who really made a difference across the past 12 months.
Due to it being slightly quieter in terms of seminars and coaching programs last month, we don't have a Coach or Presenter of the Month for November. So, without further ado, let's get stuck into our national award winners and standout coaching feedback!
Standout Coaching Feedback
Onkarabile "Onkarabile is a fantastic coach. She relays information well and ensures that my child understood everything by using relevant examples."
Divan
"Divan was fantastic! So happy we did the programme now ahead of big set of exams!"

Team UK
Next week marks the end of the first academic term in the UK - and the team really have crushed it. Over the past few months, they’ve played a pivotal role in helping students build their confidence and prepare for the first round of mock exams. These efforts have been instrumental in setting students up for success, ensuring they can hit the ground running when January rolls around.
From delivering inspiring workshops to providing targeted coaching, the UK team has shown exceptional commitment to supporting students as they navigate those first few months back in the classroom. Great job, Team UK!
Let's take a look at who's finished the year on a high!
UK Presenter of the Month
Steph
For the second time this year, we have Steph as our UK Presenter of the Month! Impressive stuff!
Steph had another incredible month in November, getting 97.57% stats and a 9.67 teacher score - not a bad way to round out the year. We asked Steph what her favourite memory from across the year has been:
"My favourite presenting memory of this year was actually one from this month; I went to an Ofsted Requires Improvement school to do a 2 hour back to back session with a low set, so was worried how well it would go down! I got some of the sweetest feedback ever, a lot of them saying how comforting they found the session and how they finally feel like they can do it. Was very much a 'this is why I do this job' moment."
Awesome job Steph, thanks for sharing!
Standout Presenter Feedback
Renee
"Renee was excellent, very polite, organised and engaged well with most pupils. Her presentations were strong and feedback from the girls was positive."
Talib
"Talib the presenter was relatable, knowledgable and entertaining. The feedback from the students was unanimous that the sessions were worth the time spent. An excellent session from Elevate"
Harris
"The presenter, Harris was really excellent and pupils found him to be very engaging. They particularly liked having a younger presenter."
Evie
"Evie was brilliant, the students were really engaged and found the content valuable. Evie's presentation technique was great, she interacted really well with the students and caught all of their attention. They hadn't been overly excited about the thought of an afternoon of study skills, but they left feeling enthused and all took away ideas that they can use when studying."
Bien
"Very enthusiastic - Bien connected with the students well, a tough sell 3pm on a Friday, but she did it well, whilst still getting across her key messages."
UK Coach of the Month
Ruchika
Huge congratulations to Ruchika, our well-deserved UK Coach of the Month for November!
Ruchika has been earning fantastic feedback from both students and parents alike. Her ability to deliver impactful programs has not only helped boost students' confidence but also left a lasting impression on her students. Check out some of her great feedback below:
"Ruchika was really helpful and inspired me to reflect."
"I really enjoyed this and I would absolutely reccomend this to a friend! Ruchika is a very nice sweet person!"
"Ruchika is great, my daughter is really enjoying the sessions with her and is learning a lot. She is applying some of the techniques and prepares and gets ready for the sessions."
Thank you, Ruchika, for your outstanding work last month!
Standout Coaching Feedback
Jarifa
"My child has thoroughly enjoyed the sessions with Jarifa. She was very engaging and explained concepts and techniques to them very clearly."
Alfie
"The sessions are going well with Alfie. He is making progress and connecting well with my son. His feedback sessions are very informative and clear. We feel lucky to have him as an Elevate Coach."
Slack Channel Highlights
With schools winding down for the end of the year, the UK team haven't had much to share on their Slack channel. We do, however, have a photo from Evie of a team trip to laser tag and a snap from David of the royal treatment (cafetiere coffee and lemon drizzle cake) at a South West sem.
We also have a great travel vlog from Eliza, who had a presenting trip up to Edinburgh last month. Have a watch below!
What an awesome summary of the trip! Thanks for sharing, Eliza!
Team US
The US team has wrapped up November on a high note, filled with impactful workshops, student success stories, and of course, Thanksgiving celebrations! It’s been a fantastic semester, with the team working hard to empower students during their mid-year exams, ensuring they’ve got the confidence and tools they need to tackle the challenges ahead.
With the holiday spirit in full swing and a new year now knocking, it’s clear the US team is ready to bring even more energy and impact in 2024.
Here’s to finishing the year strong—well done, Team US!
US Presenter of the Month
James
Big congrats to James, our US Presenter of the Month for November!
As one of our newer presenters, James has been crushing it so far, delivering impactful workshops and winning over students and teachers, getting awesome feedback as a result.
We asked James what he's enjoyed most about presenting so far:
"Two things: As important and cool as it is to teach necessary and useful skills to these students, the opportunity to try to be for students what I wish I had in grade school is easily my favorite part of presenting. A close second is seeing the moment they become invested in the seminar. Getting a more lively bunch to care and make meaningful contributions to a seminar feels cool every time."
Standout Presenter Feedback
Hailie
"The sessions were amazing! Our students really liked it and thought it was worthwhile. The presenter, Hailie, was also really good at presenting the information to our students."
John
"John was an amazing facilitator. Received a lot of positive feedback."
Jabir, Martina & Mathis
"Nothing but good things. Jabir and Martina were great! Mathis was also very professional and upbeat."
Josiah
"Today we had Josiah as our presenter for Conflict and Bullying and the students really responded well to him."
Slack Channel Highlights
From Team US we have: a birthday post for Genesis from from Maria; another birthday for Alex from Troy; and a couple photos of an amazing choir-themed meme board Denisse spotted in a classroom. Truly fantastic content.
And that's the Notes from HQ team signing off for the year! We want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone for joining us and for being part of such a fantastic journey throughout 2024. Your hard work, energy, and dedication have been truly inspiring.
For those celebrating, we wish you a wonderful Christmas, and for everyone, we hope the break is filled with rest and relaxation. Recharge, reflect, and get ready for an exciting year ahead—we can’t wait to catch you up to date in the new year!
Until then, take care, and see you in 2025! 🎉
